Vasavi Guest House started in the year 1971 by Late Sri Kothuru Seethaiah Gupta with 24 eminent members of Arya Vysya Community as founder members.
The aims and objectives of Vasavi Guest House are to promote the welfare of the Arya Vysya Community in particular and the society in general.

Vasavi Guest House has 1000 seating capacity and it is air cooled. Marriages, social functions, religious functions etc, are being conducted regularly in this Kalyana Mandapam. This is centrally located in the city and its tariffs are very moderate.

Vasavi Guest House as a part of its service activities started a girls’ hostel by name Sri Vasavi Vidyarthini Vasati Gruham to provide hostel facilities to about 80 girl students of vysya community at 16-2-705/1/2/3/A, D-Mart Lane, Near Ramalayam, Akbarbagh, Anand Nagar, Malakpet, who come to Hyderabad from far off places for pursuing higher studies. The Girls’ Hostel started functioning in the scholastic year 2016-17 and running well. The present strength of the boarders in the hostel is 60. The Hostel has all the facilities like well furnished rooms, 24 hrs. water supply, provision of washing machines, Geysers, a spacious Dining Hall and 2 Air Conditioned hostel rooms for students, Wi-Fi facility etc., are provided and Computer Lab will be established. All these facilities are provided to the boarders at a reasonable tariff towards boarding and monthly Mess charges.

The Founder President Late Sri Kothuru Seethaiah Gupta Garu had vision and to promote and extend good medical facilities, he started a Vasavi Medical and Research Centre & Vasavi Hospital. Vasavi Seva Kendram has given land, building for starting the hospital and donations for its development. The Vasavi Hospital is now a super specialty hospital and ranked as one of the best hospitals of the twin cities.

Late Sri Kothuru Seethaiah Gupta was very fond of education and strived for propagation of education. For this purpose, he started Vasavi Foundation along with Vysya Hostel management. This Foundation started a college by name Indian Institute of Management and Commerce. For starting this foundation and educational institution, Vasavi Guest House gave land, building and donations. This college has a very good reputation among the commerce colleges of twin cities and is ranked as 2nd best college in commerce education in twin cities in the survey conducted by India Today magazine.
Late Sri Kothuru Seethaiah Gupta, Late Sri Veloor Lingaiah Gupta, Late Sri G Narayan Rao, IAS (Retd), Late Sri Challa Somraj Ram, Sri Boggarapu Dayanand, M.L.C., Sri Kondle Mallikarjun, Sri Kura Raghu Veer, Sri Chikatmarla Ashok Kumar, Sri Kasanagottu Rajashekar Gupta served as Presidents for this noble organization. Now Sri Alampally Ravi Kumar is the President.
